May I take this opportunity to welcome you to our website and all that Burgoyne Middle School has to offer to our students and their parents, as well as the community around us.

Within our school community, the boys and girls work well together and gain much from sharing different perspectives and approaches to learning and developing life skills.

Our priority is the happiness of our pupils, there is a common sense of being involved, supported and successful. The happy child is likely to be the most fulfilled, and we want pupils above all to enjoy their time with us.  Learning itself should be challenging and stimulating. We are unashamedly demanding in our academic standards; we firmly believe that there is no ceiling on achievement and that in each student there is the potential to succeed.

Pastoral care of the individual is at the heart of what we are as a School.  The relationship with the family is crucial and it is in this triangle of respect which we seek to develop and nurture: school-pupil-family. The School is central and committed to its local community: offering resources, facilities, time and expertise where it is needed most.

If you would like to visit the school then please contact us.

I look forward to meeting you.

    • A MESSAGE FROM AYLMERTONPosted on 10/07/15

The children had a lovely afternoon at Felbrigg. Whilst practising their map reading skills they met monsters in the woods. Excellent team working skills. They all enjoyed bowling last night, very competitive!

Pupils have been in Cromer today.  Lots of sunshine!  They were all able to safely climb the church tower.  With such a clear day they had amazing views.

They were off to the Lifeboat Musueum in Cromer this afternoon.

      Monday & Tuesday

We arrived safely and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the first activity.  There was a lot of excitement when pupils found out where they were sleeping and we ended the evening all enjoying a hot chocolate before bed.

We had amazing weather on Tuesday for our trip to Blakeney Point and all enjoyed seeing the seals. Before dinner we made the most of the sunshine and played rounder’s and football. The weather is great again today and we were all up early ready for our trip to Cromer.

Unfortunately, we do not have a signal here in Aylmerton and are unable to post any photos until we get back.
