Things to do in the holidays

 

The Half Term holidays will soon be with us and there is a wealth of activities available in the local area to keep children occupied.

Parents may find the following sites of interest:

Wednesday, 29 May 2013 - Half Term Holiday Activities at Wandlebury Country Park: Iron Age Celts.
Prompt start at 10.00am to 12.30pm
Find out what life was like here for the Iron Age Celts.  See what evidence remains and make your own model Iron Age hut.  Meet at Wandlebury Stable Rooms Education Centre.  Led by experienced field teachers.  Ages 5 plus. £6.50 per child (members £5.00), adults free.  Booking essential as places are limited, contact office.  Bring a drink and a snack and dress for being outside!  Why not stay on for a picnic and explore the Country Park afterwards?

The 'One Leisure' sites in Huntingdon, St Ives and St Neots have a packed programme of school holiday activities for all ages, abilities and interests.  Copies of the programmes are available at the bottom of this page.
